Expert Reviews- Prior Vintages 2023, 2022, 2021

James Suckling - 93 Points: "Made from 100% Valle de Uco grapes, this affordable wine offers generous, spicy flavors and a slightly chewy texture of moderate tannins. The aromas are packed with cumin, black pepper and coriander and the flavors reveal blackberries, thyme and violets. Balanced, fun and easy to drink now." (Vintage 2023).

Tasting Panel - 93 Points: "Sourced from vineyards in the Valle de Uco and Luján de Cuyo appellations, this wine is juicy, ripe, and ready. Black cherry, violets, and rhubarb flow seamlessly across the palate. The fruit is fresh and vibrant, with brightening acidity." (Vintage 2023).

Wine Spectator - 88 Points: "A quaffable youngster, with an herbal and brambly edge to the plush and juicy berry melange flavors. A slight twinge of graphite checks in on the finish around smooth tannins." (Vintage 2023).

Joaquin Hidalgo writes: The 2022 Malbec Felino is 55% from the Uco Valley and 45% from Lujan de Cuyo. Only 7% of the wine was aged for up to six months in barrels. The 2022 has a rich, purple hue. The nose features dark and red fruit, including blackberry, plum and floral and jammy notes. The palate is creamy and expansive, with a juicy, fresh character and plenty of flavors before the lasting, plush, fruity finish. - Vinous 91. (v.2022).

James Suckling writes: the bright berry and lead pencil aromas and flavors come through with an iron shaving undertone. Boysenberry. Juicy finish. Fantastic value for the quality. Drink or hold;- James Suckling 93. (v.2022).

Aaron Romano writes: A rich and almost hedonistic style, this opens with roasted coffee notes and is brimming with ripe berry fruit, ending with fine tannins and herb details. Drink now. Wine Spectator (v.2022).

James Suckling 92 points | Very pure red with blueberries, purple fruit and violets that show on both the nose and the palate. It’s medium-bodied with integrated tannins and a pretty finish. Refined malbec. (v.2021).
