Winemaker Description

The Fessina Erse Etna Rosso is a throwback to the traditional way Etna wines were made — blending red Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio with white indigenous varieties to create a more elegant, feminine profile. Light ruby in color with aromas of wild berries, coriander, cloves, pimento, and pink pepper. Soft, round tannins with spicy complexity and a mineral core that speaks to the volcanic soils of Etna. A picture of Fessina’s melting pot vineyard, where tastes and roots meld together.
