Tapi is a certified sustainable Marlborough producer crafting vibrant, fruit-driven Sauvignon Blanc from the celebrated Wairau Valley — the heartland of New Zealand's most iconic white wine. The Wairau Valley's free-draining alluvial soils, long sunny days, and cool maritime nights create ideal conditions for Sauvignon Blanc of exceptional aromatic intensity, natural freshness, and the lively tropical character that has made Marlborough famous the world over. The 2025 vintage benefited from excellent growing conditions, producing wines of purity and vibrant expression.
Vinification is focused on preserving the natural aromatics and freshness of the fruit. Careful temperature-controlled fermentation captures the full aromatic spectrum of the Wairau Valley Sauvignon Blanc — from zesty citrus to ripe tropical fruit — while maintaining the bright, cleansing acidity that defines the style.
The 2025 Tapi opens with an inviting nose of passionfruit, lime, lemon, and blackcurrant. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fresh, and fruit-driven, with ripe tropical fruit, crisp acidity, and a mouthwatering, refreshing finish with a lingering mango aftertaste. Bright, lively, and endlessly thirst-quenching.
"Juicy, fresh and fruit-driven, this expresses notes of lemons, papayas and limes, following through to a medium body with crisp acidity. The delicious finish has a mango aftertaste. Sustainable. Drink now."
— James Suckling, 91 Points. (Vintage 2025).
"A distinctive style, with chive flower, celery salt and toasted herb notes that add a savory element to the core of lemon, grapefruit and lime on a mouthwatering frame."
