Winemaker Description 

Our Napa Valley Cabernet combines the character of the three AVAs where we farm Cabernet Sauvignon. 

Weathered high-elevation vineyards on Howell Mountain and Mt Veeder provide intensity of color, higher acidity levels and spiciness from the surrounding forests.

The lower elevation blocks of southern and northern Calistoga, with rocky soils and more extreme heat summation, provide the lush midpalate and fine tannin.

The result is a real mouthful of cherries jubilee. Huge yet soft on the palate, a flood of goodness is framed in the gentle grip of soft tannin.
