The nose is ethereal and layered: citrus peel, jasmine, oyster shell, passionfruit, and tangerine, with a perfumed wisteria lift and a stony, briny undercurrent that sets this wine apart from virtually every other California Chardonnay. On the palate, it is full-bodied yet weightless — raw honey, melon, nectarine, and lemon curd balanced by focused, driving acidity and a crystalline minerality that carries through the very long, salty finish.
