Nearly 150 years later, the recipe remains unchanged — a secret combination of more than 50 herbs, plants, and roots macerated with carefully selected wines and mistelas from Alt Empordà, Valencia, and La Mancha. What makes Perucchi truly extraordinary is its solera system: many of the aging vessels are the same century-old deposits Don Augustus started with, meaning every bottle contains a small percentage of vermouth more than 150 years old.
