Made from 100% Pinot Noir, “En Chevret” comes from an east-facing vineyard just below “Les Caillerets,” near the border with Meursault. Vines averaging 25 years of age grow in clay-limestone soils, with grapes harvested by hand.
Traditional fermentation in open vats is followed by ten to twelve months in French oak barrels, 35% new, crafted at Louis Latour’s own cooperage. This careful aging complements the wine’s fruit and adds depth to its polished character.

95 James Suckling: Spicy, lifted notes of black cherries, dried herbs, pencil shavings, potpourri and cola. Tightly wound with finely tuned tannins and energetic acidity, this has a textural, grippy and fruit-driven palate.
