Tasting Notes
Pale gold with green reflections. The nose opens with lemon, yellow stone fruit, and fresh citrus. On the palate, it is wrapped, balanced, and tangy — with layers of Kimmeridgian minerality, crisp acidity, and a clean saline finish.
Biodynamic Viticulture
Grapes are grown without synthetic inputs, harvested by hand, and vinified with natural fermentation and minimal winemaking intervention. The result is a wine that speaks directly of its terroir — nothing added, nothing taken away.
Pairing Suggestions
- Seafood: Oysters, clams, grilled sole, or a classic plateau de fruits de mer.
- Light dishes: Goat cheese, leek tart, or a simple roast chicken with lemon.
- Aperitif: Serve well chilled on its own — the saline finish makes it irresistible.

Choose when time is of the essence
Aromatically this wine is tart, with notes of lemon oils and mango skin, as well as a bit of minty herbaceousness. On the palate, there are flavors of honey, tropical fruits just barely ripened, as well as a finish of bracing acidity.
Expert Reviews - Prior Vintage 2023
Neal Martin writes 87 Points | The 2023 Chablis Sainte Claire has a delightful peachy bouquet that opens nicely in the glass. The palate is ripe and (again), a little honeyed on the entry–smooth in texture. Lightly spiced with a simple finish. Fine. Drinking 2024 to 2029. - Vinous
Allen Meadows’ writes: Moderate reduction overshadows the fruit so a quick aeration should be beneficial if you're going to open a bottle young. Otherwise the old vines are in evidence as there is both solid density and richness to the medium-bodied flavors that possess a seductive mouthfeel, all wrapped in a lingering finale. While this could also be enjoyed young, it could use better depth so a few years of keeping should prove helpful. Worth checking out provided you intend to cellar it over the next 2 to 4 years.- Allen Meadows’ Burghound
