Winemaker Description 

The newest release of our Extra Brut! This wine is made with 100% Riesling. Showing notes of lemon curd and yellow apple, this wine has refreshing acidity with fine bubbles and subtle minerality. Pair with soft, mild cheeses or serve with seared scallops.

In 1985 Hermann J. Wiemer produced a wine called “Champagne Naturel.”  It was not Champagne, of course, and it wasn’t made from traditional Champagne grape varieties either.  No, it was dry Riesling, one of Hermann Wiemer’s early attempts to manufacture a dry Riesling the public would accept.
