Gary Farrell's Russian River Valley Chardonnay brings orchard fruit and citrus into balance with refreshing acidity and a gently creamy texture. Baked apple, golden pear, lemon and baking spice lead toward ginger, citrus zest and brioche, with a long, lively finish.

The 2023 blend draws from Rochioli, Allen and Olivet Lane vineyard sites. Rochioli and Allen contribute concentration and structure, while Olivet Lane's Wente-clone Chardonnay adds brightness. A cool, extended growing season supported flavor development while retaining acidity. The hand-sorted, gently pressed fruit was fermented and aged in French oak barrels and puncheons, with 30% new oak; ten months on primary lees brought texture and depth.
