The fruit comes from historic vineyard blocks near the Russian River, where gravelly soils contribute to the character of these celebrated sites. The majority of the blend comes from Rochioli’s River Block, planted in 1989, complemented by the Mid-40s Block, planted in 1993, and Allen Block 1, planted in 1995.
Gary Farrell’s relationship with Rochioli began more than four decades ago with a handshake. This longstanding partnership continues to produce wines that showcase the vineyards’ distinctive balance of richness, elegance, and freshness.
