Crafted from 100% Chardonnay sourced from Napa Valley vineyards, the wine is made with 40% malolactic fermentation — a deliberate choice that adds a layer of creamy texture and complexity while preserving the bright, fruit-driven freshness that defines the Duckhorn house style. The result is a Chardonnay of genuine balance: rich enough to satisfy, vibrant enough to refresh.
The 2024 opens with inviting aromas of ripe pear, fresh lemongrass, orchard fruit, lemon pith, citrus peel, and a delicate touch of ginger. On the palate, vivid and juicy with medium to full body and crunchy acidity. Vibrant layers of citrus and creamy crème brûlée are accompanied by a subtle hint of salinity that adds depth and intrigue. A silky entry leads to a long, fruit-driven finish where its balanced complexity shines through.
