Sauvignon Blanc grown in Ciringa, the Slovenian part of their top location Zieregg. This wine finds ideal conditions on pure coral limestone and loose brown earth. Presented with expressive minerality, liveliness and deep-seated spice. The taste is clear as a bell with fine citrus aromas.

2021 Review | Eric Guido writes:  The 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Fosilni Breg is wickedly spicy and fresh with a bouquet that leaps from the glass, mixing citrus zest with wildflowers and hints of ginger. This opens with a lovely inner sweetness contrasted by a twist of lime and green apple fruits, giving way to a saline tinge toward the close. The 2021 finishes with tremendous length and concentration yet remains perfectly fresh as notes of candied citrus fade. The value here is unprecedented.  Drinking 2024 - 2027.  - Vinous 91
