Saturated with blackberries, black currants, espresso and dark chocolate flavors, it is firmly wrapped in a thick layer of tannin. Delicious now, it will become more complex and drinkable with time. James Suckling 93 Points | Cassis, brambles and violets followed by graphite, cigar box and tobacco leaves with blanched nuts and cedar. Full-bodied with crisp acidity and firm yet finely grained tannins. Wonderful concentration and focus. Precisely framed wine with depth and length. Aged for 14 months in 40% new French oak. A blend of 98% cabernet sauvignon and 2% merlot. Try after 2027.
