Daou Vineyards Rosé Paso Robles 2025 — Paso Robles, California
Daou Vineyards is one of Paso Robles’ most celebrated estates, founded by brothers Georges and Daniel Daou on a dramatic hilltop site in the Adelaida District. Their Rosé takes its cue from the great Provençal tradition — Grenache-based, pale salmon in color, and built for elegance and freshness rather than weight. The 86% Grenache Noir and 14% Sauvignon Blanc blend brings together the floral, fruit-forward character of Grenache with the bright acidity and aromatic lift of Sauvignon Blanc — a Paso Robles take on a classic southern French style.
The 2025 shows a pale salmon color and opens with playful scents of ripe peach, apricot, star fruit, and honeydew melon. On the palate it is soft and clean, with effusive flavors of lemon zest, stone fruit, papaya, and watermelon, all finishing with mouthwatering crispness and elegance.

Made from Grenache grapes, Daou Rosé presents a pale rose hue with aromas of fresh strawberry, guava, crème brûlée and honeysuckle. Subtle hyacinth and ginger notes are accompanied by cranberry, rhubarb, cherry blossom and lemon meringue. The palate is balanced, displaying a lush, crisp juiciness with flavors of ripe strawberry, papaya, nectarine and mandarin orange. Hints of spiced peach, mango and watermelon are complemented by red apple, kiwi, apricot and honeydew melon, all cascading into a clean, refreshing finish.

Made from Grenache grapes in the classic Provençale style, the 2023 DAOU Rosé displays beautiful radiance with a pale flamingo hue. Delicate aromas of peach, apricot, mango and lemony vanilla are accompanied by floral hints of hibiscus and honeysuckle. The palate is perfectly poised, balancing light and airy textures with a lush, crisp juiciness.
