Rich, polished and classically Ribera del Duero. Condado de Haza Crianza 2022 is made from 100% Tempranillo and offers a beautifully balanced combination of ripe dark fruit, savory spice, gentle tannins and well-integrated American oak.
The wine opens with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and red berry fruit layered with notes of licorice, black pepper, vanilla, toast and subtle roasted coffee. On the palate, it is fleshy and silky, with fresh acidity, smooth tannins and a generous core of dark fruit leading into a long, elegant finish.
The 2022 vintage was aged for 14 months in American oak barrels, followed by additional bottle aging before release. The oak brings warmth, spice and complexity while preserving the freshness and fruit-driven character of the Tempranillo.
About Condado de Haza
Condado de Haza is part of Familia Fernández Rivera, the renowned winemaking family behind Tinto Pesquera. The estate is located along the banks of the Duero River and works with its own Tempranillo vineyards in the heart of Ribera del Duero.
The vineyards sit at approximately 800 meters in elevation, where the region's dramatic day-to-night temperature shifts help preserve freshness while encouraging full phenolic ripeness. The result is a classic Ribera style combining concentration, structure and elegance.
