Renato Cigliuti began prioritizing quality over quantity in the 1960s, when green harvesting was still unusual among his neighbors. The 2024 is bright and floral, with red fruit, a lively palate and fine tannins. Give it a little time in the glass to let its cherry and spice notes unfold. It makes a lovely companion to mushroom dishes, roast poultry or a simple plate of pasta.

From younger vines in Serraboella and Bricco di Neive, the 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo pours a bright medium ruby and reflects the cooler nature of the vintage. Fermented in stainless steel and aged five months in stainless steel followed by five months in 2,500-liter Slavonian oak casks, it opens with pomegranate, fresh flowers, tangerine, and dried earth. On the palate, it’s medium-bodied, light on its feet, and refreshing without austerity, with fine tannins and a lifted floral tone that lingers through the finish.

The 2024 Langhe Nebbiolo is a fine entry-level offering from Cigliuti. Aromatic, vibrant and medium in body, the 2024 is super-classic in feel. Crushed rose petal, red-toned fruit, chalk and mint lend notable high-toned brightness. Youthful tannins extend the mid-palate and finish. This is essentially a mini-Barbaresco.
