Winemaker Description

Intense, bright red and balanced. Ideal for festive occasions, an easy-drinking wine. Full bodied and rich with cassis, blueberry and blackberry anchored by oak influenced vanilla and a cedary accent. Fine tannins provide texture on the finish.

Château L'Escart is located with its 26ha of vineyards east of Bordeaux near Saint Loubès. The vineyards are planted with the traditional Bordeaux grape varieties: Merlot (50%) Cabernet Sauvignon (25%) and Cabernet Franc (15%) Malbec (7%) and Petit Verdot (3%).
