Cellier des Dauphins Cotes du Rhone Reserve 2023 750ml
If all Cotes-du-Rhones were as good this, then the appellation would have a much better reputation.
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
James Suckling 93 Points | If all Cotes-du-Rhones were as good this, then the appellation would have a much better reputation. This deftly combines a full body and ample velvety tannins with a generous red fruit character plus hot earth and spice nuances. Excellent balance in the long, surprisingly elegant finish. Expert Reviews - Prior Vintage 2022
James Suckling 90 Points | A generous Cotes du Rhone with stacks of blackberry and red berry fruit plus a touch of licorice. The ample soft tannins on the full-bodied palate give this an attractively velvety mouthfeel, then comes a blast of blueberry at the generous, but moderately dry finish. A cuvee of 60% grenache and 40% syrah.
Wine Enthusiast 90 Points | Made from 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, this wine offers black plums with high tones of cranberry, Kirsch cherry and wild thyme. The palate is savory and rustic with upfront tannins that support hints of tart red fruits alongside its ripe black fruited profile. This should be an easy-drinking selection for a charcuterie night with friends.
