Cambria’s history in Santa Maria Valley winegrowing began with Barbara Banke and Jess Jackson, who acquired Tepusquet Vineyard and established the winery in 1986. Cambria says it has maintained Certified California Sustainable Winegrowing (CCSW) certification since 2010 and Sustainability in Practice (SIP) certification since 2011, upholding those standards in its vineyards and cellar.

For the 2023 Katherine’s Vineyard Chardonnay, Wine Spectator notes seamlessness and complexity, with lemon blossom and orange sherbet alongside papaya and marmalade. Fresh acidity carries lemon verbena and ginger through the finish, with a hint of marzipan.
