Expert Reviews - Vintage 2022
James Suckling 92 Points | Rich and expressive, with blackcurrants, black cherries, mocha, cedar and hints of spices. The full-bodied palate is deep yet bright and focused with a supple texture and lingering ripe berries and savory nuances. Refined and already attractive, but better from 2027.

Decanter Magazine 92 Points | A blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc, 3% Malbec, 3% Petit Verdot, and 2% Merlot. Half the wine was barrel-fermented in 50% new French oak, while the rest was fermented in stainless steel, then aged for 18 months in 30% new French oak. Fragrant and packed with sweet red berry fruit, strawberry preserves, and cherry compote, it features gentle, soft tannins that make it very approachable from the pull of the cork. The tannins do build, however, becoming more drying and overarching on the finish, with some of the bright fruit character fading slightly. Nevertheless, this is a lovely wine, best enjoyed with well-salted meats.

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2019
Wine Spectator 93 Points | Offers good intensity and energy, with bramble-edged plum, blackberry and boysenberry compote flavors pumping through. The finish is scored by sweet tobacco and apple wood. Best from 2023 through 2034.
Wine Advocate 91 Points | Deep garnet-purple in color, the 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon offers up blackcurrant pastilles, plum preserves and baked blackberry notes with touches of tobacco leaf and stewed black tea. Medium to full-bodied, plush and laden with bright, juicy fruit, it finishes with a peppery kick.
Jeb Dunnuck 92 Points | The base appellation 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is solid, offering a dense purple color to go with beautiful cassis and blueberry fruit as well as notes of tobacco, graphite, and crushed stone. Rich and mouth-filling, it has some firmer, chewy tannins, but loads of mid-palate depth and a great finish. Drink it over the coming 10-15 years.
James Suckling 95 Points | Lots of blackberry and forest-floor aromas with pine needles and bark that follow through to a full body with a pretty framing of chewy yet medium-grained tannins and a flavorful finish. Fresh too. Try after 2025.
