Il Poggione Grappa Di Brunello Riserva Vigna Paganelli Invecchiata 4 Anni 375ml
Producer Description
Grappa di Brunello Riserva Vigna Paganelli is the result of artisanal batch distillation of fresh pomace from Sangiovese grapes sourced in the Paganelli vineyard.
In a slow and methodical distillation process using copper stills, our Master Distiller manually separates the "head" and "tail" from the "heart" that will eventually become our Grappa Riserva - but only after aging for 4 years in 350 litres (93 Gallon) French oak barrel, previously used for the aging of Il Poggione Brunello di Montalcino.

Tenuta Sette Ponti Oreno Toscana Organic 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2020
Wine Spectator 95 Points | This is lush, yet dense and lively, offering black cherry, blackberry and black currant fruit, shaded by mineral, cedar and spice elements. Firms up by the finish, echoing fruit, mineral and spice accents, with fine length. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Best from 2024. (2020).
Wine Advocate 94 Points | From a warm vintage, the Tenuta Sette Ponti 2020 Oreno (a blend of certified organic Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot) is very rich and fleshed out, and definitely softer compared to the 2019 vintage before it. This wine shows lots of savory fruit and velvety concentration with blackberry preserves and baked cherry. Oreno awards you with a very generous expression from Tuscany that can be enjoyed in the near- or medium-term. (2020).
James Suckling 97 Points | A red with a layered, velvety texture, showing blackberry and black-olive character, together with some iodine and graphite. Full-bodied and rich with lots of fruit and chewy tannins. Savory. 50% merlot, 40% cabernet sauvignon and 10% petit verdot. Needs two or three years to soften. (2020).

Poggio Antico Brunello di Montalcino 2007 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2007
Wine Enthusiast 94 Points | A whiff of fresh flowers from a rose garden or a lavender field makes for a nice first impression. Beyond that is dark fruit, black cherry and crème de cassis. Shadings of lead pencil, leather and tobacco fill in the rear. This Brunello presents a soft, round mouthfeel with cherry flavors capped by tight structure.
James Suckling 94 Points | This is beautifully perfumed, with flowers and dried raspberries. Full body, with silky and polished tannins and a berry, cherry aftertaste. Not quite the 2006 but succulent and bright.
The Wine Advocate 93 Points | The 2007 Brunello di Montalcino bursts from the glass with freshly cut roses, sweet red berries, licorice and mint. The 2007 is pure sensuality and finesse. This supple, totally polished Brunello will be very hard to resist in its youth. The Brunello spent a total of 36 months in cask.
