This color of this wine is a very deep, clean and bright cherry-red. Tempranillo aromas and red and black fruit are prominent in its intense but balanced bouquet. Barrel aging that respects the raw material brings out attractive spiced notes. It shows great elegance and intensity on the palate, medium-body, and a long and persistent aftertaste.
A wine with roots anchored in the most authentic winemaking tradition of Ribera del Duero but with an innovative vocation. Elaborated from grapes from an ideal location where exposure, climate and soil combine to obtain excellent grape quality. The 2019 vegetative cycle was preceded by the April rains. However, from the middle of spring until the end of summer, the year was characterised by scarce rains and temperatures that were higher than expected. The harvest began after a few rainy days, which helped to balance the grapes’ composition and
resulted in a year of extraordinary quality and optimal health.
Its alcoholic fermentation is carried out in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for 18 days, followed by malolactic fermentation for 30 days. Aged in French oak barrels.

Wine Spectator 91 points Medium- to full-bodied, fresh and balanced, this has an earthy hint on the nose that underscores the palate's ripe black cherry and blackberry fruit, crushed eucalyptus and mocha flavors, with sculpted tannins firming the finish. Drink nowJames Suckling 91 points Blackberries, cloves, bark and dried thyme. Full-bodied with tight and chewy tannins. Structured, with an elegant finish. Better give it a year or two to allow it to settle more. Drink from 2024.
