The nose is fresh and citrusy: lemon verbena, white peach, green herbs, and a whisper of sea salt. We extract the very essence of juniper, rosemary, fennel, pine, lemon, and especially: figs. We combine these botanicals from the Priorat mountains with lemon peel from the southern part of our Catalan Mediterranean coast.

Casa Mariol is one of Catalonia's most distinctive vermouth producers, crafting their Negre Vermut in the traditional Spanish style from the Terra Alta region — a rugged, windswept appellation known for its old-vine Macabeu. The base wine is 100% Macabeu, infused with wild field herbs and unripe green walnuts, then aged in a 60-year-old solera — a process that builds extraordinary depth, complexity, and continuity from one vintage to the next. One of the defining characteristics of Casa Mariol's approach is the very low use of caramel, resulting in a lighter, more fragrant, and more spicy vermouth with greater balance than most — equally at home drunk straight as it is in cocktails.

The nose is herbal and aromatic: thyme, rosemary, cinnamon, and warm spice, with a subtle nuttiness from the green walnut infusion. On the palate, the vermouth is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced — fragrant and spicy up front, with a clean, pleasantly bitter finish and lingering notes of caramel and dried herbs. Producer Description 

This hazelnut colored, oxidized sherry showcases aromas of baking spices and dried candied fruits. It finishes dry with notes of fresh salt-roasted walnuts.

Cruz del Mar Oloroso is produced exclusively with palomino grapes grown by César’s family in the Balbaína and Miraflores pagos (vineyards). After harvesting, the grapes are crushed and undergo alcoholic fermentation in traditional cement vats, which naturally regulate the temperature.

Fuller-bodied musts are chosen for Oloroso, and after being fortified to 18% ABV., the wine is aged oxidatively in old barrels in a bodega in the heart of Chipiona. Cruz del Mar Oloroso spends an average of 12 years in the solera process before being bottled en rama, without fining or filtration.

The intensity of the bouquet starts right with the pour as waves of prunes and raisins rise from the glass; air contact stirs deeper aromas, most notably orange rind, peppermint and roasted nuts. This rich, heavyweight brandy features layers of flavor, including cocoa, toffee, caramel, cream Sherry and oaky vanilla. Finishes as large and robust as it started.
