The palate is quite succulent, with lovely refreshing acidity and subtle tannins holding the fruit together beautifully. Ripe red fruits offer richness on the mid-palate, with flavors of dark cherry, pomegranate, and cranberry. Savory, charcuterie meats add a lovely savory, umami edge. Softly textured, medium bodied and very approachable.

Well-integrated sweet oak is reminiscent of panforte and praline. Chargrilled beetroot offers a savoury counterweight, ably supported by notes or well-worn chesterfield leather.
