Winemaker Description

Dark red with delicately organ-colored edge the color, the nose reminiscent of ripe, dark stone fruit. In the mouth, notes of spices join in. The fellow drinker dreamed a club from the deer with cranberries.

Promesse is the second wine from Chteau Franc Maillet and represents wonderful value. This estate is located very close to the Pomerol plateau and bears all the hallmarks for which the region is celebrated for.

On the nose, it has notes of violets and a touch of truffle and black berries, whilst on the palate it is silky and velvety with a rich long voluptuous finish.

Winemaker Description 

The 2021 Chardonnay is composed of fruit from two of our organic, estate vineyards that span two different AVAs, two different soil types and two different elevations.

With an abundance of bright fruit aromatics, this wine was fermented in French oak to build richness. The nose comes alive with notes of green apple, caramel, lemon and vanilla and has fun nuances mandarin orange and toasted marshmallow. Texturally, the wine is surprisingly rich with excellent acidity making it a great food wine.

Louis Jadot is one of Burgundy's most storied and trusted négociants, with a history stretching back to 1859 and holdings across the Côte d'Or's most celebrated appellations. Their Clos de Malte is a monopole vineyard in Santenay — the southernmost village of the Côte de Beaune — where Jadot's technical director Frédéric Barnier has long championed a philosophy of freshness and balance, blocking malolactic conversion to preserve the wine's natural energy and precision.

The Domaine Louis Jadot Santenay Clos de Malte Blanc 2023 750ml is a 100% Chardonnay from the top of the Santenay slope, aged in one-third new French oak. It opens with forward aromas of ripe apple, pear, white flowers, toasted nuts, and candied citrus. On the palate it is silky and medium to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, with bright flinty acidity that gives the wine excellent energy and length. Charming, expressive, and built for both near-term pleasure and short-term cellaring.

Gamet La Vallée Suspendue Extra Brut Réserve Perpétuelle — Champagne NV

Gamet is a small grower estate in the Marne Valley, and La Vallée Suspendue is their most distinctive cuvée — a Meunier-dominant blend of 80% Pinot Meunier, 15% Pinot Noir, and 5% Chardonnay, built on a 2016 base with 50% reserve wines drawn from a perpetual reserve that stretches back to 1999. That solera-style reserve is the wine's defining feature: it adds extraordinary depth, complexity, and a sense of continuity that no single vintage could achieve alone. Dosed at just 4 g/L, the Extra Brut designation keeps the wine focused, dry, and expressive. Awarded 93 points by both Jeb Dunnuck and Vinous.

The nose leaps from the glass with lemon curd, meringue, pastry dough, marzipan, and red berries, evolving toward dried pear, tangerine oil, spice, and exotic yellow flowers with air. Our 2022 Red Mountain Sauvignon Blanc an ideal example of a perfectly balanced Red Mountain white wine—rich and full on the midpalate, bright tropical fruit flavors balanced with crisp mouthwatering acidity. The vineyard sourcing blends a newer, but well known, extremely warm growing site in Quintessence with the more established and slightly cooler Artz and Klipsun vineyard plantings from the early 1980’s. The result and complex and delicious expression of Sauvignon Blanc. On the aroma we get pineapple, lemon pith, and wet rocks. The palate is full yet crisp and refreshing — passionfruit, mango, and white peach.

Salt River Sauvignon Blanc is a blend of five different vineyard sites located around Stellenbosch. The anchor of the wine is the now a 35year-old bush vine vineyard grown on the slopes of Bottelary. The other components are trellised and bush vine vineyards, with various different aspects, planted in granitic soil. These vineyards have combined exceptionally well in creating the saline mineral style of Sauvignonn.

High-altitude, volcanic red that captures the wild beauty of Mt. Etna’s northern slopes. Made primarily from Nerello Mascalese and other native Sicilian varieties, this wine is lifted and aromatic, with notes of red berries, herbs, crushed stone, and spice. Elegant yet energetic, "Quota N" reflects Eduardo’s low-intervention style and deep respect for Etna’s terroir. A pure and soulful expression of Sicilian winemaking.

Eduardo acquired this flat, half-hectare parcel of ungrafted, 80 to 100 year-old, co-planted bush vines. The vines are a a field blend of of red and white grapes. 

It is surrounded by stone walls at the high elevation of 1070 meters in the contrada. The parcel is named Germana for its historical family owner.Eduardo was not allowed to use this name and was also not permiited to use the Nave contrada name, because the site is too high to fall within DOC Etna Rosso rules.

The Wine Enthusiast by Mike DeSimone 94 Points | This deep garnet-colored wine has a nose of black currant, sage leaf and cherry pipe tobacco. It is smooth at first sip and then bold tannins settle in and coat the tongue and gums. Blackberry, raspberry, cocoa powder, crème brûlée and orange zest flavors are accompanied by a note of butterscotch that endures on the palate.

Pierre Paillard’s Les Parcelles is the definitive expression of Bouzy Grand Cru — a mosaic cuvée assembled from approximately 25 distinct parcels across the village’s sun-drenched, south-facing slopes. Harvested by hand at night from a little vineyard in the Russian River comes this delightfully fruity yet complex wine. The mouth is full of rich subtropical passion fruit and melon. We achieve this fullness by leaving the juice on lees for an extended period of time building the flavor.

A fresh and engergetic Chardonnay that expresses the true character of Burgundy’s signature white grape variety. Perron de Mypont Chardonnay is sourced from selected vineyard parcels in the classic Chardonnay areas of the Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise, and Chablis. 

To ensure elegance and delicacy in the wine, the grapes were picked at optimal ripeness during cool mornings early in the harvest. Following fermentation, the wine was matured for nine months in used French oak barriques and 600-liter demi-muids to develop texture and complexity, while maintaining freshness. T
