Kozlovic Malvasia Istria Croatia 2022 750ml
Discover the Unique Flavors of Kozlovic Malvasia
Winemaker Description
Kozlovic is family winery that started in 1904 in the Valle Valley of Istria, Croatia. The estate has been passed down from generation to generation, and the importance of family is at the center of what Kozlovic does. The vineyards are planted to the local varietals Malvazija, Muscat Momiano, Muscat Rose and Teran and grown on the hills of Valle, Santa Lucia and Kontarini in clay soils known locally as "Terra Bianca" (a mix of flysch, limestone and white clay). The vines are grown sustainably with minimal spraying and all grapes are hand-harvested.
The Kozlovic Malvazija is made from 100% Malvasia Istriana, fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for a few months and then aged in bottle for another two months. A small percentage of Malvazija is fermented and aged in oak barrels, then added back to the wine. Highly aromatic, the wine displays notes of acacia flowers, peaches, apples and herbs. On the palate, the wine features a bold, refreshing acidity that is mouth-watering. There is a wonderful mineral complexity with a subtle salinity on the palate and finish. This is an incredibly food-friendly wine that can pair with scampi risotto, scallops, white fish or pasta.

Ramos Pinto 30 Year Tawny 750ml Port
Expert Reviews
Wine Spectator 93 Points | This is alluring, with whiffs of warm date, green tea and walnut backed by juicy fig bread and salted caramel flavors. The racy, focused finish lets a singed juniper note glide through. Drink now.
Wine Enthusiast 94 points | The wonderful old-gold color of this tawny leads into a generous, rich wine that has retained fruits while also showing a woody character that is typical of wines this old. With spice, dried raisins and intense acidity, it is a beautiful wine that deserves to be drunk just by itself.
Wine Advocate 94 Points | The NV RP 30 Year Old Tawny Port comes in with 119 grams per liter of residual sugar and was bottled in 2015. This is the new release. This mingles complexity of flavor with a fresh and surprisingly elegant feel (relative to the category, of course). The finish is very long, complex and persistent, adding new flavors as it lingers. Beautifully constructed and balanced, this is a 30 that starts with a bit of understatement and keeps getting more impressive. It's fun to just smell, but you expect that with long-aged Tawnies. The lift to the fruit and the sunny demeanor aren't always as guaranteed. It has a surprisingly supple and fresh style that I rather appreciated, delivering those old Tawny flavors while also seeming remarkably elegant. Then, it finishes with that big acidity. It was notably better a few days later, no longer seeming quite so understated, particularly in regards to its concentrated flavors and intense aromatics. Note that this comes with a bar top cork. If you're wondering, this is their oldest NV Tawny; Ramos Pinto does not make a 40.
The Ramos-Pinto 30-Year old Tawny is amber colored with orange and garnet tones. The delicate green highlights of the meniscus are characteristic of old cask-aged wines, and illustrate the quality and advanced age of this fine port.
This complex, perfectly balanced port shows rich aromas of dried fruit and vanilla. Agitate the glass and spice aromas of cinnamon and cocoa are liberated. In the mouth, the attack is fresh, fine and delicate. Ripe, dried fruit softly merges with almond and hazelnut, culminating in vanilla flavors which linger gracefully on the palate. Domaine Marc Colin Chassagne Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champ Gains 2020 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2020
Jasper Morris 92-94 Points | Mid lemon. A little more stuffing than the very agreeable Chenevottes, digging deep into fresh yellow fruit, some citrus rind, good acidity, and a particularly appealing intense crisp white fruit finish. Old vines count!
Neal Martin writes: The 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Champs Gain 1er Cru has a touch more mineralité on the nose compared to the Les Chenevottes, touches of gypsum and oyster shell intermingling with light white linen scents. The palate is very well balanced and beautifully poised, with entrancing white peach and nectarine notes toward the irresistible finish. Yes, yes, yes! Drinking 2025 to 2048. - Vinous 93-95
William Kelley writes: Aromas of citrus zest, peach and pear, mingled with hints of white flowers, hazelnuts and fresh bread, preface the 2020 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Champs Gain, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely concentrated wine with a bright spine of acidity and a mouthwateringly chalky finish. This looks to be Colin's best Champs Gain since 2017. - Robert Parker Wine Advocate 91-93
Winemaker Description
Founded in 1970 by Marc Colin and his wife Michele, Domaine Marc Colin now spans 15 hectares encompassing 26 appellations in St. Aubin, Chassagne, Puligny, and Santenay. Most of the land was inherited from past generations of Colin and Ponavoy; certain parcels have been in the family for more than 100 years. While the family does own prime territory in Chassagne, home base in St. Aubin features parcels of the very best vineyards, En Remilly and Chatenière, to name a few. These vineyards accrue prestige due to their sloped location; while much of St. Aubin resides on flat ground (rendering less interesting wines) the Colin properties are all situated on finely pitched hillsides. The resulting wines shimmer with savory minerality and luster.
Today Joseph, Caroline, and Damien, the children of Marc and Michele, own and run the domaine. The fourth sibling Pierre-Yves (who made the wine at Marc Colin for 10 years) established his own project in 2005. Sustainable and organic agriculture, older vines, and clay-limestone soils are just some of the components contributing to the quality of the final product. Winemaking style would best be called traditional, though Joseph (who makes the whites) and Damien (who makes the reds) are certainly not shy of innovation. Whites strive for optimum freshness; there is no heavy, ungainly wood here. The red wines are characterized by silky texture, ever-present fruit and a certain roundness with just a kiss of oak. Production consists of 70% white and 30% red with total production maxing out at 120,000 bottles.
Felton Road Chardonnay Bannockburn Biodynamic 2021 750ml
Felton Road Bannockburn Chardonnay Biodynamic — Central Otago, New Zealand 2021
Felton Road is the benchmark estate of Central Otago — and one of the most principled producers in the Southern Hemisphere. Farmed biodynamically and committed to minimal intervention, the estate produces wines of extraordinary purity and precision from some of the world's most dramatic vineyard sites. The Bannockburn Chardonnay is sourced primarily from Blocks 2, 6, 8, and 9 of the Elms Vineyard, with approximately 10% from Cornish Point — a range of altitudes and aspects on deep schist gravel soils. Hand harvested, whole-bunch pressed, native yeast fermented in French oak (just 5% new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered. Decanter awarded it 93 points; Wine Advocate 91. At $44.99, it is one of the most compelling values in serious New Zealand Chardonnay.
The nose is refined and translucent: toasted hazelnut, lemon, polenta, white peach, green apple, and a whisper of vanilla pod. On the palate, the wine is lithe and luminous despite its 14% alcohol — a wonderful transparency that speaks of brilliant sunshine and brisk Central Otago coolness. The texture is light and precise, with masterful oak integration (just 5% new) that allows lemon and stone fruit to shine through cleanly. White pepper and a hint of Portuguese tart add complexity on the long, elegant finish. Sealed under screw cap. Drink now or cellar.
Decanter 93 — "A wonderful translucency that speaks of brilliant sunshine and brisk coolness. Texturally this reveals a light touch and masterful use of oak that allows lemon above all to shine through. Just 5% of oak was new — how beautiful."
Wine Advocate 91 — "Creamy and nutty, with white peach, green apple, white pepper, vanilla pod and Portuguese tart... a lovely wine with plenty of pleasure woven throughout."

Bertani Amarone Della Valpolicella 2011 750ml
The Benchmark of Amarone — Bertani's 2011 Della Valpolicella
Bertani and Amarone are nearly synonymous — the estate's 150+ year history in the Veneto is so intertwined with this iconic appellation that one cannot speak of great Amarone without invoking the Bertani name. Their Amarone is a wine of uncompromising elegance rather than brute power, built for the long haul and rewarding patience with extraordinary complexity. The 2011 vintage, now over a decade in bottle, is drinking magnificently — a rare opportunity to experience a fully mature, world-class Amarone at its peak.
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2011
- James Suckling — 97 pts: "Density and dryness that really comes together here, after almost 10 years in bottle. Very deep and vertical on the palate. Very pure and beautiful crushed cherries, dried flowers, carbon and pumice. Wonderful all round. Drink or hold."
- Decanter (Aldo Fiordelli) — 94 pts: "One of the most classic Amarones, which has never changed its elegant rather than powerful style. Bright garnet in the glass, dominated by leather, earthy tones and restrained raspberry fruit. Fresh character with hints of citrus, slightly oxidative flavours and a Modica salted-chocolate finish. Full and firm, with outstanding balance between suppleness and structure. Drinking 2021–2047."
- Wine Spectator (Alison Napjus) — 91 pts: "A poised red, expanding slowly on the palate, with fine, creamy tannins enmeshed with black cherry coulis, black plum reduction, iron, dark chocolate and tobacco notes. Fresh and focused, with a lasting, spiced finish. Drink now through 2031."

Anthony Girard L'indiscrete Sancerre Kosher 2023 750ml
Tasting Notes
Bright and pale golden, L'Indiscrète opens with a fresh, citrus-driven palate layered with mineral notes of flint from the caillote soils. Richly textured yet underpinned by crisp acidity, the wine delivers textbook Sancerre minerality with an elegant, pure, and refreshing finish that lingers beautifully.
About the Wine
Produced by Anthony Girard of the La Clef du Récit estate, this cuvée is crafted from 45-year-old vines grown on classic Sancerre limestone (caillottes) and flint soils. It is rare to find a non-Mevushal Sancerre from a small, high-quality producer of this caliber — because it is not flash-pasteurized, the wine retains its delicate floral aromatics and sharp mineral edge, making it a benchmark for connoisseurs seeking the most authentic Kosher Sancerre experience.

Palmer Champagne Grands Terroirs Millesime 2015 750ml
Winemaker Description
Champagne Palmer & Co concentrates its vineyard holdings in the Montagne de Reims: in the grand cru villages of Mailly and Verzenay and the premier cru villages of Trépail and Villers-Marmery. While they also have holdings in the Marne Valley, the Côte de Sézanne and the Côte des Bar, their prestige cuvée Grands Terroirs, channels those north- and north-east-facing slopes with power and precision.
The 2015 vintage is blended from 50% Pinot Noir, 38% Chardonnay and 12% Pinot Meunier, sourced from Mailly and Verzenay as well as Trépail, Villers-Marmery, Ludes, Chigny-les-Roses and Rilly-la-Montagne. Palmer & Co refers to the vintage as “exceptional” because it combined high temperatures and little rainfall – spelling little disease pressure and even ripening. Sunny days and cool nights in August, they say, allowed for “perfect” ripening.
The nose, subtle and charming, opens with notes of orange blossom and acacia, mixed with notes of yellow fruits, then it evolves towards lovely and delicately spiced aromas of fried pineapple and tonka bean. The palate is characterized by freshness, with citrus fruits sublimating the notes of brioche and dried fruits. Its creamy texture stretches deliciously into a persistent finish.

The Vice Orange of Gewürztraminer 2024 750ml
The Vice · Orange of Gewürztraminer · Los Carneros, Napa Valley · 2024
Malek Amrani’s The Vice is a Bay Area natural wine project built around a radical idea: take one of the world’s most aromatic white grapes — Gewürztraminer, the “Spice Traminer” that has thrived in cool climates since 16th-century Germany — and vinify it like a red wine. The result is an orange wine of rare expressiveness: 100% unfiltered Gewürztraminer from Los Carneros, Napa Valley, fermented with wild yeast and extended skin contact that extracts the grape’s natural color, tannins, and flavor compounds in a way that no conventional white wine vinification can replicate. 100% vegan. Low sulfites (Free SO₂: 33mg/L). Aged 7 months on lees in stainless steel. At $24.99, this is one of the most distinctive and compelling orange wines made in California.
A vivid, expressive bouquet leaps from the glass: lychee, rose petals, juicy white peach, and a whisper of exotic cardamom. On the palate: silky and seamless, with layered flavors of ripe melon, tangy blood orange, and warm spice. A pitch-perfect balance of sweetness and acidity — residual sugar just 2.19g/100ml — keeps it fresh and vibrant through a long, spiced finish. Serve slightly cool. Drink now through 2027.

Bodegas Antidoto Ribera del Duero Soria 2024 750ml
Bodegas Antídoto Ribera del Duero 2024 | Tempranillo | Soria, Spain | 750ml
Antídoto comes from the far eastern reaches of Ribera del Duero — the Soria province, a wilder, less-traveled corner of the appellation where the rules are looser and the vineyards are older. Bertrand Sourdais and David Hernando work with up to 400 different parcels of old, ungrafted Tempranillo (Tinto Fino) vines rooted in a patchwork of limestone, decomposed granite, and clay. The project is biodynamic and organic in spirit, with spontaneous fermentation, no fining, no filtering, and minimal intervention throughout.
The 2024 vintage is a more delicate, fine-boned expression than prior years — fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, then aged nine months in 600-liter French oak barrels (25% new). The result is juicy and full-bodied but balanced: black cherry, plum skins, dried herbs, and a kiss of vanilla spice, with firm, chewy tannins and a pristine finish. Very primary now — worth a year or two of patience, but already compelling.
Critical Acclaim - Vintage 2024:
- Wine Advocate: 91–92 pts — "Juicy and full-bodied but balanced... soft vinification... fine-boned. Very primary, with some toasted notes that suggest waiting a bit more."

- Tim Atkin: 91 pts — "A comparatively forward, easy-drinking style with some subtle reduction, plum, raspberry and black cherry fruit and a kiss of vanilla spice."

Husch Vineyards Pinot Noir Anderson Valley 2022 750ml
Husch Vineyards · Pinot Noir · Anderson Valley · Mendocino County, California · 2022 · 750ml
Husch Vineyards holds a special place in California wine history: founded in 1971, it was the first winery established in the Anderson Valley, a remote, fog-laced appellation in Mendocino County that has since become one of the state’s most celebrated addresses for Pinot Noir. The valley’s cool, maritime climate — shaped by Pacific fog that rolls in through the Navarro River corridor — produces Pinot Noir that sits at a compelling stylistic crossroads: darker and earthier than Russian River or Sonoma Coast, yet more structured and spice-driven than Willamette Valley Oregon. Husch has been farming this land for over fifty years, and the estate Pinot Noir remains the benchmark expression of what makes Anderson Valley special.
Lively ruby in the glass with an inviting, complex nose of raspberry compote, strawberry jam, dried florals, dried herbs, and a savory note of portobello mushroom. On the palate: baked red plum, pomegranate, and orange zest, interwoven with vanilla bean, earth, and mineral, carried by smooth tannins and lifted acidity that brings focus and length to a dry, supple finish. Wine Enthusiast awarded 92 points, calling it “a legacy family in the Anderson Valley still going strong.” Drink now through 2029. Pair with coq au vin, mushroom ravioli, roasted duck, grilled salmon, or creamy cheeses.

Wine Enthusiast — 92 Points
“This lively wine offers aromas of raspberry compote, strawberry jam, florals, dried herbs and portobello mushroom on the nose. The flavors on the palate are baked red plum, pomegranate and orange zest, interwoven with vanilla bean, earth, mineral and a dry, supple finish. From a legacy family in the Anderson Valley still going strong.”
Bart Hopkins — 67Wine.com
“The beautiful Anderson Valley of Mendocino County is home to some of California’s best Pinot Noir. I look at it as a stylistic bridge between Russian River–Sonoma Coast and the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The fruit leans more to the darker spectrum with earthy complexity and a spicy character. Aromas of cherry and strawberry mingle with shades of violet, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Well balanced and harmonious with smooth tannins and lifted acidity that brings focus to the fruit on the long flavorful finish.”

Exceptional Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir
Belle Glos Las Alturas Vineyard Pinot Noir 2022 is a stunning expression from one of California's most prestigious wine regions. The vineyard name "Las Alturas" translates to "the heights," reflecting its elevated position on the highest grape-growing benches in the Santa Lucia Highlands AVA, reaching up to 1,200 feet. This lofty elevation creates a unique microclimate where sunny days meet cool coastal breezes, producing a wine that is robust, expressive, full-bodied, and beautifully balanced by firm acidity.

Expert Reviews & Critical Acclaim - Vintage 2022
Wine Enthusiast - 93 Points: "Deep and dark aromas of black cherry, sandalwood and incense make for a heady nose on this bottling. The palate is big and bold, loaded with ripe black cherry and boysenberry flavors, as peppery, incense-like spices add complexity and the texture stays lusciously creamy."
Artisanal Winemaking Process
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, the grapes were harvested in the early morning to preserve vineyard-fresh flavors. After destemming without crushing, the berries underwent a two-week cold soak to soften skins and optimize extraction. Fermentation took place in a combination of closed and open-top stainless steel fermenters, using both punch-downs and pump-overs to extract color, tannins, and maximize flavors. The wine was aged in 100% French oak (60% new) for up to nine months, followed by malolactic fermentation and two rackings before final blending.
Tasting Profile & Sensory Experience
This wine displays a rich crimson color that hints at its depth and complexity. The nose opens with fragrant aromas of Bing cherry, dried fig, black cassis, and hints of rich dark chocolate, complemented by sandalwood and incense notes. On the palate, discover bold and elegant flavors of marionberry pie, boysenberry preserves, dark plum, and subtle mocha, with peppery spices adding layers of complexity. The lusciously creamy texture is balanced by beautiful acidity that carries through to a long, mouthwatering finish.
Perfect Food Pairings
Belle Glos Las Alturas Pinot Noir's versatility makes it an exceptional companion to a wide range of dishes. Pair it with roasted duck, grilled salmon, or mushroom risotto for classic combinations. It also complements lamb chops, beef tenderloin, pork loin, wild game, or aged cheeses beautifully. For vegetarian options, try it with truffle pasta, eggplant parmesan, or roasted root vegetables. Whether you're hosting an intimate dinner or a festive celebration, this wine elevates any culinary experience.
Santa Lucia Highlands Terroir
The Las Alturas Vineyard benefits from the exceptional terroir of the Santa Lucia Highlands, where elevation, diverse soil types, and coastal influence combine to create wines of remarkable complexity and depth. The vineyard is meticulously cared for, ensuring only the finest grapes make it into each bottle. This commitment to quality and the unique characteristics of the region result in a Pinot Noir that truly captures the essence of one of California's most celebrated wine-growing areas.
Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown 2023 750ml
Silverado Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Grown — Napa Valley 2023
Silverado Vineyards is one of Napa Valley’s most storied estates — founded in 1981 by Ron and Diane Miller and her mother, Lillian Disney, on historic vineyard sites in the Stags Leap District that had been planted to Cabernet as far back as the 1960s. For years, the family sold their fruit to neighboring wineries building global reputations for excellence. Then they decided it was time to make their own wines — their own expressions of the Napa Valley they loved. Today, under the ownership of Foley Family Wines and the leadership of Courtney Foley, Silverado continues that legacy with over 300 acres planted across some of Napa’s most celebrated AVAs: Stags Leap District, Yountville, Coombsville, Carneros, and Napa Valley proper. The Estate Grown Cabernet is their benchmark expression — a wine that has earned over 40 scores of 90 points or higher from the world’s top critics. The 2023 earned 93 points from Wine Spectator.
The color is a deep, concentrated ruby. The nose is soft and supple: black currants, dark chocolate, black olives, potpourri, and graphite — classic Stags Leap District aromatics with elegance and precision. On the palate, it is smooth and textural, with firmly framed tannins, bright acidity, and a long, polished finish. The blend is 81% Cabernet Sauvignon with small amounts of the other four Bordeaux varieties, adding complexity and structure. Drink now or cellar with confidence.

Beaulieu Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon GEORGES DE LATOUR 2021 750ml
Expert Reviews — Vintage 2021
Jeb Dunnuck 98+ Points | "Incredibly elegant yet concentrated 2021 that does everything right." Purple-hued, with ample cassis, wild sage, graphite, and darker chocolate aromatics. Picks up a Graves-like gravelly earth character with air. Full-bodied with ripe, polished tannins, beautiful balance, and a great finish. Needs 4–5 years of bottle age but will drink well for 30 years.
James Suckling 98 Points | Intense aromas of iodine, blackcurrants, cedar, sandalwood and mint. Medium to full body with silky tannins that spread across the palate and expand in a balanced, harmonized way. Hints of chocolate and tar. Better in a few years — try 2027 and beyond.
Wine Spectator 95 Points | Packed with dark, winey flavors of blackcurrant and blackberry paste underscored with alder, sweet tobacco, warm paving stone and black licorice. Violet accent fills the background. Polished finish makes it accessible now, with plenty of life ahead. Drink now through 2042. — Wine Spectator’s #2 Wine of the Year 2024.
Winemaker Notes
A truly remarkable vintage of BV’s iconic flagship. The bouquet is intense with wild sage, blackcurrant, cedar, and fresh mint. The palate is expansive and full-bodied with layers of ripe blackberry, redcurrant, and red rose petal alongside graphite, licorice root, gravelly stone, and dark chocolate. French oak aging adds sandalwood, clove, and Ceylon cinnamon. The signature "Rutherford Dust" tannins are silky, polished, and fine-grained, finishing long with a cocoa powder texture.
Slightly reserved upon release but incredibly drinkable — significant presence, depth, and concentration foreshadowing cellar-worthy potential across the next few decades.
Tasting & Pairings
Cassis, wild sage, graphite, dark chocolate, blackberry, cedar, sandalwood, and Rutherford Dust. Full-bodied with polished, fine-grained tannins and extraordinary length. Decant generously now or cellar through 2042+.
- Prime rib or dry-aged ribeye — the wine’s concentration and tannin structure demand equally serious beef.
- Braised lamb shank with herbs — the sage and cedar notes mirror herbed, slow-cooked meats.
- Dark chocolate truffles — the cocoa powder finish and chocolate aromatics are a decadent match.

Domaine Guiberteau Saumur Les Moulins Rose 2024 750ml
Producer Notes — Vintage 2024
Domaine Guiberteau is one of the Loire Valley’s most celebrated estates, and Les Moulins is their entry-level rosé — a cuvée originally created for vineyards undergoing organic certification, now showcasing purchased grapes and young Domaine vines alongside the estate’s signature precision. Bonny Doon Vineyard Take Me To Your Liter Le Cigare Volant Rhone Blend 1.0 Liter 2023 750ml
93 Points Wine Enthusiast: The newer ownership of this historic brand is doing a solid job of keeping the Rhône vibe and mission alive. This blend of 69% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 14% Cinsaut and 2% Petite Sirah offers fresh red currant aromas that are layered in earth and herb elements. The palate pairs raspberry and strawberry flavors with fennel pollen and cracked pepper, making for a very drinkable glass. — Matt Kettmann
Varietals:
69% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 14% Cinsault, 2% Petite Sirah
AVA: Central Coast, CA
ABV: 14.5%
Tasting: The '23 Cigare is expressive. Wild strawberry, rhubarb, black pepper, and tobacco make this an easy-drinking, elegant choice.
Winemaker Notes: "The fruit is carefully selected to ensure its full potential of ripeness with balanced chemistry, and as usual for Cigare, Grenache is the star of the show. As we all know, Grenache grown in relatively cool sites in coastal California has a growing season long enough for it to create the spicy, peppery quality that we love so much and expect to taste in Cigare. We included, as is our wont, some wonderful Cinsault, a rather plump and juicy grape, which was signee to a fare-thee0well, to increase the concentration of this lightly colored and structured grape. The wine was aged in stainless steel tank and bottled ten months after harvest to preserve freshness and vibrancy." -Randall Grahm (Director of Winemaking/Founder)
Story: In 1954, the village council of Chateauneuf-du-Pape was quite perturbed and apprehensive that flying saucers or "flying cigares" might do damage to their vineyards, were they to land therin. So right-thinking men all, they passed an ordinance prohibiting the landing of flying saucers or flying cigares in their vineyards. The ordinance further states that flying saucers or flying cigares that did land were to be taken immediately to the pound.
Bodegas Hermanos Pecina Finca Iscorta Gran Reserva Rioja 2015 (Pre-Sale...ETA April 15, 2026)
95 Jeb Dunnuck: From one site, the 2015 Finca Iscorta De Pecina Gran Reserva has more density, more alcohol, more color, and more black fruit on the palate and should age outstandingly. Finca Iscorta is the winery’s oldest vineyard, which it treats as a grand cru, only making the wine in worthy years. The next won’t be until 2019. Strong and powerful in tannin and full-bodied weight, it could go another 20-30 years, so intensely concentrated, spiced, and textured, from both a powerful year and a powerful site. It spent four years in used American oak.
94 Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: A more modern Gran Reserva from a single vineyard, the 2015 Finca Iscorta de Peciña Gran Reserva was produced with the grapes from a 50-year-old vineyard, fermented with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel with a moderate extraction and short-ish maceration. It matured in used American oak barrels for four years and was racked every six months. It's a little darker, the color and the fruit profile, and it's intensely balsamic, with notes of camphor and abundant spicy notes. It's solid and seamless and fills your mouth; it's powerful with 15% alcohol and 6.2 grams of acidity, ripe but balanced.
Winemaker Notes
Tempranillo from a single vineyard named Finca Iscorta. The vineyard is a total of 8 hectares and only the best fruit goes to this bottling. The vines are on average 50 years old and bush pruned.

Velich TO White 2021 750ml
Expert Review — Vintage 2021
Vinous 92 Points | A blend of Chardonnay, Welschriesling and Sauvignon Blanc from the younger vines of the estate (~15 years old). Gentle nuttiness and a touch of tatami mat on the nose, very subtle and calm. With air, a hint of butter emerges. The palate is all clarity, all lightness and all brightness on a super-slender frame that is soothing and smooth. Bone-dry.

About the Wine
Velich Tó White takes its name from the Hungarian word for "lake" — a nod to the estate’s proximity to Neusiedlersee in Burgenland, Austria. The Tó cuvée is sourced from the estate’s younger vines (15–25 years old) and blends Chardonnay, Welschriesling, and Sauvignon Blanc into a wine of remarkable purity and restraint.
Velich is one of Burgenland’s most respected producers, known for precision winemaking and a deep connection to terroir.
Tasting & Pairings
Gentle nuttiness, tatami mat, butter, orchard fruit, and citrus. Super-slender, bone-dry, and soothing with bright clarity and a smooth finish. Serve well chilled.
- Seafood — oysters, ceviche, or grilled branzino — the wine’s slender frame and acidity are ideal.
- Roasted chicken with herbs — the subtle nuttiness and butter notes complement poultry beautifully.
- Soft-ripened cheese or fresh burrata — the bone-dry finish cleanses the palate between bites.
Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto 2023 750ml
Expert Reviews - Vintage 2023
Decanter 96 Points | Super-fresh with balsamic herb, blueberry and floral aromatics, Guidalberto 2023 has blossomed into a grand vin all of its own. Invigorating cool forest berry flavours mingle with touches of spice and fine, silky tannins. So poised. Wow!"
Decanter Magazine
James Suckling 96 Points | This vintage shows a remarkable aromatic profile of Mediterranean herbs, cassis, black cherries, leather and earth with a kind of gamey depth. Full-bodied, it shows velvety, slightly sandy tannins with a firm structure, refreshing integrated acidity and a savory cedar finish.
The Wine Enthusiast 94 Points | On the nose, the density of blackberries and damp earth is balanced by the clean snap of pencil eraser and wild mint. The palate brings tangy, tart blackberries, black plums and citrus, alongside more wild mint and fennel, while smooth tannins sit back and watch a hot, acidic river carry the finish.
Jeb Dunnuck 92-94 Points | The 2023 Guidalberto was tasted as a preview and was a preliminary blend of barrel samples prepared for this tasting by the winery team, led by Carlo Paoli. The second sample that was blended was pure and ripe, with detailed layers of youthful cherry liqueur, fresh herbs, and lavender perfume. The palate offers medium to full-bodied richness, with a supple and primary feel, though it starts to reveal its underlying refined structure. While this was an early preliminary look at what the wine could look like, I’m looking forward to next year’s tasting to see how it develops.
The Wine Spectator 92 Points | Pure and juicy, revealing black cherry, blackberry, floral and Mediterranean herb notes, plus touches of spices. Light-bodied, elegant and deftly balanced, with a lingering, mouthwatering finish. This is approachable now but will benefit from another 612 months aging. Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Drink now through 2032. 5,400 cases imported.
Vinous 92 Points | The 2023 Guidalberto is another terrific wine from Tenuta San Guido in this vintage. Aromatic, medium in body and gracious, the 2023 is pure charm. Crushed flowers, bright red-toned fruit, spice and blood orange all pulse through a vibrant, refreshing Guidalberto that will drink well on release. The more refined side of Bolgheri is very much on display. This is a fine effort in a year marked by heavy rains and elevated disease pressure. What a delight.
Memo Summary Notes
The 2023 Tenuta San Guido Guidalberto is a highly acclaimed release from the legendary estate behind Sassicaia. Often called "Sassicaia’s little brother," Guidalberto is a distinct, standalone wine designed to be more approachable in its youth while still possessing the elegance of Bolgheri's coastal terroir.
In 2023, the blend shifted slightly due to a hot start to August that made the Merlot more challenging to manage. As a result, the Cabernet Sauvignon plays a more dominant role than in recent previous years.
Famiglia Carafoli L'Onesta Lambrusco di Sorbara Dry 750ml
Famiglia Carafoli L’Onesta Lambrusco di Sorbara — Emilia-Romagna NV
Famiglia Carafoli is a third-generation family estate based in Modena, the heartland of authentic Lambrusco. Under the stewardship of Carlo, Paolo, and Mario Carafoli, the domaine has remained committed to the traditional, dry style of Lambrusco di Sorbara — a far cry from the sweet, mass-market versions that defined the category for decades. L’Onesta (“The Honest One”) blends Sorbara, Salamino, Marani, and Grasparossa grapes into a bright, dry sparkling red of genuine character and refreshing precision. At this price, it is one of the most exciting values in Italian sparkling wine.
The nose is fragrant and inviting: violets, fresh red berries, and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied with lively, fine bubbles, refreshing acidity, and a crisp, dry finish that is clean and moreish. This is Lambrusco as it was always meant to be — honest, food-friendly, and impossible to put down.
67 Wine — “L’Onesta is the real deal: dry, bright, and violet-scented, with the kind of refreshing acidity that makes every bite of prosciutto taste better.”

Casa Julia Carmenere Reserva Maipo Valley 750ml

Ventisquero Grey Glacier Single Block Sauvignon Blanc Longomilla Vineyard Atacama Chile 2023 750ml
Expert Review - Vintage 2023
The Wine Enthusiast by Jesica Vargas writes 90 Points | Delicate sweet notes of nectarine introduce this lively wine. The palate offers white fruit flavors, balanced by moderate acidity, leading to a crisp finish.
Winemaker Description
An attractive greenish-yellow colour. Its ageing in foudres has lent it citrus and green chilli pepper aromas, as well as saline notes. In the mouth, it is very structured and tense thanks to its high acidity and minerality. The finish is clean and persistent, with a subtle saline note coming through. This highly complex Sauvignon Blanc tempts you to enjoy it with food.
Block 22 is located on the first terrace of the river Huasco. It has very old, stony soils from the river which have very special qualities: a little clay and a lot of calcareous soil – lime, calcium carbonate – white soils. Characterized by low yields of grapes with very concentrated fresh fruit. In the Atacama Desert in the Huasco valley, the temperatures were fresh, especially at night. Temperatures are kept low because of the constant cool morning breezes blowing in from the Pacific Ocean, as well as the classic “Camanchaca”, a dense fog which comes in from the ocean, helping to regulate the temperatures and ensure an optimum level of humidity in the atmosphere.
Memo Summary Notes
The Ventisquero Grey Glacier Sauvignon Blanc 2023 from the Longomilla Vineyard is a highly distinctive wine that pushes the boundaries of Chilean viticulture. Grown in the Atacama Desert—the driest place on Earth—this wine is defined by "extreme" conditions, resulting in a profile that is far more saline and mineral than your typical New Zealand or Casablanca Sauvignon Blanc.
Pair with
The Perfect Match: Fresh oysters, sea urchins, or ceviche. The salinity in the wine acts like a squeeze of lime on fresh seafood.

Expert Reviews - Vintage 2024
Aromatically complex yet still anchored, the balance between lemon blossom lift and citrus acidity is beautifully woven. Flavors of white grapefruit, papaya, fennel bulb, and tarragon mingle seamlessly, and resolve in a savory, mineral finish." -Brian Freedman 93 points, Tasting Panel
“Sliced pears, lemon pith, jasmine and mineral nuances on the nose. The medium-bodied palate is textured yet crunchy, with lively acidity coming through. Flavorful and sleek." -Jim Gordon 91 points, JamesSuckling.com
“Peach, apricot and lemon curd flavors are generous, plump and juicy in this white, with plenty of oomph to the details of tangerine, orange zest and lemon thyme that linger on a mouthwatering frame. -MaryAnn Worobiec 90 points, Wine Spectator
Winemaker Description
This wine is focused on purity of fruit; it is a flip book of the varietal as it ripens on our Rutherford estate. We capture different snapshots of the grape’s character by making multiple picking passes during harvest. This provides the wine with complex layers of fruit starting with zesty citrus, moving to stone fruits, progressing to melons, and finishing with a hint of exotic tropical fruits. Each of these aromatic profiles represents the different ripeness levels at which the clusters were picked.
Delightfully aromatic, notes of lemon peel, mango and a touch of citrus blossom burst out of the glass. On the palate, tropical notes of guava and passion fruit are balanced by hints of citrus and honeydew. Juicy and bright, with a rich mouthfeel, the crisp acidity adds a fresh, clean finish that begs you back for more.
2024 was a picture-perfect growing season with exceptional fruit set, balanced vines, and ideal ripening. While days were a bit hotter than usual during the summer months, nights cooled significantly, slowing vines to replenish and balance out ripening. Careful canopy management was key to ensuring we got dappled sunlight on the fruit without too much sun exposure on the hot days. The warmer weather helped us achieve maximum ripeness and concentration with deep color and flavors for our red wines while our white wines have our signature bright acidity mixed with loads of tropical aromas and flavors.

The 2018 vintage is particularly notable — a cooler, wetter year that produced a wine of exceptional freshness and fine-boned structure, with the kind of calibrated acidity that will reward further cellaring.
The bouquet is elegant and complex after 60 months on the lees: lime and lemon pie lead, complemented by a delicate array of fine herbs, brioche, and a subtle autolytic creaminess. On the palate, it is dry and creamy with an ethereal, flowing texture enlivened by calibrated acidity. Refreshing and joyful, with a long, mineral-driven finish — this is sparkling wine of genuine distinction.
🏆 Vinous 91 Points — "The bouquet features aromas of lime and lemon pie, complemented by a delicate array of fine herbs. Dry and creamy on the palate, the ethereal flow is enlivened by calibrated acidity. Refreshing and joyful, this sparkling wine is a delight."

Elvi Cava Brut Kosher 750ml
Winemaker Description
The Cava Brut by Elvi is a highly drinkable sparkling wine made from grapes grown in Spain's fertile wine regions. The coloring is very light, and nearly translucent with a straw coloring and some greenness. The bubbles are nice and prominent, both pleasurable to the eye and mouth.
The aroma is complex, with many different notes. A touch of fruit, a touch of yeast, and a touch of almond swirl around in the nose. The texture feels nice in the mouth with lighter acids that fall away at the end and a shorter aftertaste. Very enjoyable and easy to drink.
