Winemaker Description
This wine combines fresh aromas of nectarine, lime, melon, and subtle hints of wet stone and flint. In the mouth, flavors of grapefruit and white peach are accompanied by tropical notes of mango and guava. Barrel fermentation brings volume and texture to the wine while crisp and vibrant acidity drives a juicy lingering finish.
Pair with Caesar salad, asparagus, fish tacos and fresh oysters.
Memo Summary Notes
The 2024 vintage continues La Crema's shift toward a more textured, "boutique" style of Sauvignon Blanc that balances California sunshine with crisp acidity.
This wine is designed for "alfresco" dining. It pairs exceptionally well with fish tacos, fresh oysters, Caesar salad, or grilled asparagus. It is also an excellent match for goat cheese crostini.

MaryAnn Worobiec writes: Silky and elegant, with pear, lime and lemon zest flavors and Honeycrisp apple notes, revealing accents of fresh ginger on the finish. Drink now. - Wine Spectator. (Vintage 2023).
Audrey Frick writes: Highly aromatic, the 2022 Sauvignon Blanc Sonoma County jumps from the glass with ripe papaya, punchy chive, and grapefruit. Medium-bodied, notes of ripe citrus and tropical fruit fill the palate, with a soft texture and a clean finish. It is fresh with ripe peach and candied citrus and has no harsh edges. A Drink now. - Jeb Dunnuck. (Vintage 2022).
