Every year, Chopin plants special varieties of potatoes on their estate in Krzesk, searching for the rare growing season that produces something truly remarkable. The 2016 harvest was that season. Harvested at the peak of summer, when the potatoes were still young and their skins still tender, the spirit was carefully distilled to retain as much sweet earthiness as possible — then rested for two years in 50-year-old oak barrels before being bottled by hand. The result is the world’s first rested, super-premium potato vodka: a spirit of extraordinary complexity and refinement that transcends the category entirely.
