A pure expression of the Nero d’Avola grape. Luminous ruby purple in color with a cornucopia of aromatics; plums and black cherries, watermelon and candied cherries, black pepper, leather and dark chocolate. Fresh and energetic in the mouth with savory richness and chiseled mineral complexity that lingers into the finish. Lower in alcohol than most other Sicilian reds, but certainly without any compromise in flavor. A wine that’s perfectly suited to Mediterranean cuisine, especially fresh pasta and all types of seafood.

Tasting Notes • Color: Light to medium ruby with a translucent core • Nose: Vibrant and fresh, offering aromas of red cherries, raspberries, blood orange, and pomegranate, with hints of wild herbs, crushed stone, white pepper, and a touch of balsamic • Palate: Juicy and lithe, with red berry fruit, citrus zest, and herbal notes. A mineral-driven mid-palate gives way to a slightly saline finish. The acidity is bright and electric, while the tannins remain fine and smooth. • Finish: Crisp, clean, and lingering, with a refreshing, almost crunchy texture. Decanting & Drinking Window • No need to decant—but serving slightly chilled (around 55°F/13°C) enhances freshness • Best enjoyed young (2024–2027), but could evolve gracefully over the next few years
