The sweet vermouth that built the Negroni and the Manhattan — Martini & Rossi Rosso has been the world’s benchmark sweet vermouth since its creation in Turin in 1863. Rich, complex, and unmistakably Italian, it’s crafted from a base of white wine transformed by a proprietary blend of herbs and botanicals: Artemisia, Summer Savory, and Dittany, balanced with exotic bitter-sweet woods that give Rosso its signature depth and warmth.
Deep cola in color, the nose is sensuous and layered — ginger, prunes, sap, and bark. On the palate it’s supple and sweet with an almost Sherry-like richness at entry, giving way to citrus and grape at midpalate. The finish is luscious and semisweet, with a lingering herbal complexity that makes it as rewarding sipped neat over ice as it is essential in cocktails.

At its heart is wine blended with rich Italian herbs: Artemisia, Summer Savory and Dittany balanced with exotic bitter-sweet woods. Its complex and alluring taste has made MARTINI Rosso the key ingredient for several iconic cocktails such as the Negroni or Manhattan.
