Beefeater Gin Dry 80 Proof England 1.0L LITER
Expert Review
92 Points Wine Enthusiast | Best Buy - Setting the benchmark for London dry-style gins, look for a fresh, clean scent and flavors of lemon peel and juniper, accented by white pepper, ginger, cayenne and coriander before fading to zingy lemon and a mildly sweet exit. At 47% abv it reads a little hot, but it's ideal for drinks with a bit of dilution, like a classic Gin & Tonic.
Producer Description
A quintessential London dry gin made with big juniper character and strong citrus notes, this is an authentic London dry for those that enjoy the real taste of gin.
Beefeater is the world's No.3 premium gin. The only international premium gin still to be distilled in London, it brings a quintessentially British character to the world of spirits.
Tanqueray RANGPUR Gin 82.6 Proof 750ml
Producer Description
Tanqueray Rangpur Gin uses rare Rangpur limes during the production process to obtain zest and exotic citrus undertones. It is a unique, full-bodied spirit with a smooth finish.
The rare Rangpur lime is an ingenious choice to bring a distinct and bold flavour to Tanqueray Rangpur. With the zestiness of lime and the juiciness of mandarin orange, this gin is the best kept secret of the British-Indian tradition. Best enjoyed with premium tonic water and a slice of lime.
Tanqueray Rangpur Distilled Gin was first created in 2006 by adding Rangpur lime, an exotic citrus fruit from India with the zestiness of lime and the juiciness of mandarin oranges, together with ginger and bay leaves to Tanqueray's premium London Dry Gin.
It is distilled four times to achieve the perfect balance of four classic gin botanicals - refreshing juniper, peppery coriander, aromatic angelica and sweet liquorice.
Plymouth SLOE Gin 750ml
The making of fruit gins has long been a tradition in the English countryside, and ours keeps true to a recipe dating back to 1883.
The Nose - A clear character of mellow sloe berries, it’s fruity with notes of sweet cherry and a slight scent of almonds
The Palate - Fruity, smooth and full-bodied, with a perfect balance of sweet and dry
The Finish - Long, fresh and fruity
A 750ml bottle of Plymouth Sloe Gin (26% abv). Sloe berries are slowly and gently steeped in Plymouth Gin, soft pure Dartmoor water and a small amount of sugar for approximately 4 months.
The sugar levels are kept low to allow the full flavour of the berries to shine and allow the dry acidity of the fruit to be an important part of the taste. The result is an entirely natural product with no added flavourings or colourings. Sloe Gin has long been enjoyed as a ’winter warmer’ in the countryside.
