In Rully, Faiveley's 5.65-hectare Les Villeranges vineyard rests on limestone and marl soils naturally low in iron. Plantings established in stages from 1987 onward provide the setting for a Chardonnay that combines orchard fruit, flinty character and a rounded texture.

Brilliant pale yellow in color, the wine opens with delicate aromas of ripe orchard fruits, fresh pear, citrus and subtle flinty minerality. Hints of white flowers and gentle creaminess add complexity to its elegant bouquet.
On the palate, this sophisticated Chardonnay is smooth, rounded and wonderfully balanced, offering flavors of fresh melon, orchard fruit and citrus complemented by a delicate mineral backbone. A subtle creamy texture lends richness without sacrificing freshness, while lively acidity carries the wine through a precise, refreshing finish.

Winemaking & Aging
Traditional Burgundian vinification emphasizes aromatic purity and the vineyard's mineral expression. Approximately 16 months of maturation is divided equally between French oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Around 10% of the barrels are new, keeping oak influence subtle. Regular lees stirring during barrel maturation adds richness and texture while the tank-aged portion preserves freshness.
Pairing & Serving
