Uncontested king of the Mâconnais, this wine comes from the beautiful Southern Mâconnais region guarded by two jagged rocky outcrops: Vergisson and Solutré. The eight acres of Chardonnay vines, aged 30 to 60 years, are planted in clay-limestone soil on hillside slopes facing the rising sun.
