Expert Review - Vintage 2024
“A delicate, complex bouquet of spices, licorice, red berries, lemon, spring flowers and herbs. Medium-bodied, enveloping and beautifully structured — round and juicy with a delicate, lively core of fruit and a mineral, calcareous finish. A classical rosé wine from Bandol.” — 92 pts, Wine Advocate

Wine Spectator 92 Points | A gorgeous, complex rosé, rippling with flavors of cherry, blood orange, spice, potpourri and currant. Ripe, densely packed and creamy, this stays elegant, with impressive harmony and a lovely salted almond note on the long finish. Mourvèdre and Cinsault. Wine Advocate 92 points Pibarnon's 2021 Bandol Rosé is a slightly coppery, medium-pink blend of 65% Mourvèdre and 35% Cinsault. A juicy, fresh and easy-drinking rosé, this medium-bodied effort delivers ample cherry, melon and lime flavors. Drinking 2022 - 2023 (2022 Vintage).
Vinous 92 Points | Light, vivid orange. Mineral-accented citrus pith, red berry and succulent floral and herb scents, along with a spicy topnote. Chewy and sharply focused in the mouth, offering well-concentrated strawberry, bitter cherry, blood orange, honeysuckle and smoky mineral qualities and a deeper suggestion of nectarine. Densely packed, with the mineral and floral notes carrying through a long, precise finish. (2022 Vintage)
