Few estates in Provence carry a history as remarkable as Peyrassol. Located in the heart of the appellation, the Commanderie was founded by the Knights Templar in the early Middle Ages — the first recorded grape harvest here dates to 1256. When the Templars were dissolved in 1311, the Knights of Malta assumed stewardship, maintaining the vineyards with characteristic precision until the French Revolution. The Rigord family purchased the estate in 1870, and today Françoise Rigord — who has been making wine here since 1981 — continues alongside her son François. Nearly eight centuries of uninterrupted winemaking, and the Cuvée des Commandeurs remains the estate's most beloved bottle.

Pale and luminous in the glass, this is quintessential Provence rosé: delicate, dry, and effortlessly elegant. Expect fresh strawberry, white peach, and citrus zest on the nose, with a clean, mineral-driven palate and a crisp, refreshing finish. This is the wine that spring and summer were made for.
