A blend of Tempranillo, Mazuelo, and Garnacha. Aged 22 months in a combination of French and American oak barrels. This Reserva (2019) is my go-to Reserva to drink right now, although the wine has the potential for further aging in the bottle. Beautiful bouquet of red fruit: strawberries, raspberries, and red currants with hints of warm spices coming from the oak. Medium-bodied with round and well-integrated tannins, supple mouthfeel, and elegant finish with notes of tobacco, toasted nuts, and crisp, enticing red fruit.
