Neal Martin writes: The 2022 Morgon comes from 70- to 100-year-old vines on alluvial soils, farmed organically for 20 years. It underwent a 20-day maceration with just one pigeage before de-vatting. This has a very mineral-driven/slate-tinged bouquet that, thankfully, has sufficient fruit to back it up. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins, just a very subtle marmalade note complementing the red fruit and gentle grip on the finish. Excellent. Drinking 2024 - 2031. - Vinous 92
