Elisabetta Fagiuoli is a winemaking legend, known for her immense compassion within the world of wine. Together with her late partner, Sergio, they transformed a wooded hillside into what is now recognized as one of Italy’s great winemaking estates. She humbly produces native grape varieties such as Vernaccia, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, and Colorino in a style that can be simply described as “traditional.” The wines of Sono Montenidoli have become the beacon for defining Tuscany’s San Gimignano subregion.
