The estate manages an area of about 125 acres of vineyards. All the vineyards are in the best sites of Rovereto di Gavi receiving cooling sea air and full sunlight exposure from sunrise to sunset. The Black Label bottling is produced with the utmost care, from pruning to harvesting, with a strict and rigorous selection from low-yielding vines averaging 60 years of age. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks the wine ages on the lees for additional richness.
On the nose its intense, long, continuous, persistent, from fruited to
flowery to stage of development. On the pallet this wine offers highly typical, flinty accents; almonds and hazelnut in the finale. Excellent with any meal; also for the usual pairings with white wines (fish, shellfish and seafood), well paired with white meats, fowl and light meats.
