Wine Spectator 91 points Alluring, with a hint of black tea that gives way quickly to dark plum and cherry preserve flavors lined with charcoal, tobacco and sweet bay leaf nuances. Puts on weight as it sits in the glass too, which always bodes well. Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Drink now through 2031. -- James Molesworth Decanter 91 points A lovely wine, full of flavour. It has clear freshness running through it, with brambly fruit and a sense of grip from the tannins and acidity - the fruit is doubly held in place. It's a wine that's not trying too hard to impress and is all the better for it. Highly drinkable already, there's no need to wait too long. 20% integral vinification. 50% new oak. Hubert de Bouard consults. 5% Petit Verdot completes the blend.  Drinking 2024 -2036 -- Tasted by: Jane AnsonJames Suckling 93 points An elegant nose of dark fruit, wood, orange peel, dark chocolate and some herbs. It’s full-bodied with elegant tannins. Juicy and well balanced with a flavorful finish. Lovely length. Try after 2023.Vinous 91 points The 2018 Tour des Termes has quite a punchy bouquet featuring upfront brambly red berry fruit, mint and sage aromas, well defined if not terribly complex. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannins, fresh and grippy, leading to a dense, charcoal-tinged finish that lingers. It is quite backward but I admire its cohesion and focus, so just afford it 2–3 years in bottle. Tasted twice with consistent notes. Drinking 2024 - 2038. -- Neal Martin
