95 Points Wine Advocate | The 2017 Sigalas Rabaud gives up tropical notions of pineapple paste, passion fruit and green mango with hints of honeycomb, florals and exotic spices. The palate is rich, concentrated and super spicy on the finish with a compelling lift of freshness.

94 Points Wine Enthusiast | Barrel Sample. Generous and rich, this spicy wine has intense toffee and ripe caramel characteristics. It boasts bright acidity, layered with flavors of lemon juice and apricot. It will be a fine wine as it develops. Drink from 2024.

94 Points Jeb Dunnuck | The light gold colored 2017 Château Sigalas Rabaud is a honeyed, sweetly fruited, full-bodied Sauternes that offers classic tropical fruits, peach, and caramelized pineapple aromas and flavors. It has terrific botrytis character, a big texture, yet the freshness and purity that’s the hallmark of this vintage.

93 Points  Decanter | Laure has been selecting only the best plots for this wine for several years, increasing production of her dry whites elsewhere in the vineyard. This has a spicy white pear flavour on the attack, followed by quince and citrus, and white pepper on the finish. Lovely balance with real personality, no problems with acidity here. Drinking Window 2019 - 2032.

This Winery has been in the family for 6 generations and sits on a small hill overlooking the famous Chateau d'Yquem. It has just 14 hectares making it the smallest of the premier cru classe properties. A simple yet pretty sauternes that has good concentration and notes of coconut, marmalade, dried fruits and a long rich finish. A wine that is crying out for some blue cheese.
