Mas Petit is our most popular young red wine. After starting to make Blanc de Pacs in the 1980s, Joan Cusiné decided to marry the smoothest Cabernet Sauvignon with the most delicate and aromatic Garnacha from the Penedés. The result, a velvety wine, full of fruit but with the maturity that comes from its time in oak.

The blend change every year depending on the terroir.

TASTING NOTES:

Sight: Medium intensity cherry colour.

Nose: Predominance of red fruits on a soft background of toast and vanilla.

Mouth: Smooth and gentle on the palate, with velvety and round tannins. Reminiscences of red fruits such as cherries intertwined with hints of vanilla.

"It reveals aromas of black fruits, liquorice and sweet spices. The palate is broad, rich, without being heady and enough freshness to keep everything in balance. " - Journal de Montreal, Patrick Désy, journalist

VARIETIES
Mas Petit is made of grapes grown organically and biodynamically on our estates in the Penedès.

WINEMAKING
Hand harvested. The grapes are received at the winery, and after gently crushing the grapes, each variety is cold macerated for the first week to obtain a wine with a silky structure. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 23ºC for 20 days in stainless steel vats. Aged in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year Allier French oak barrels for some months.

Wine suitable for vegans.

Wine made with biodynamic grapes and minimal intervention in the cellar.
