Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio is a white wine gem from the Veneto region of northeast Italy. We have not found a better Pinot Grigio for the money than Vigneti del Sole! This wine is a pale yellow-green in color. It is a lighter-style Pinot Grigio with plenty of fruit and acidity for a well-balanced wine.

This popular Italian white has crisp acidity and a nose of lemons, green apples and almonds. With no oak, the wine shows the best of the Pinot Grigio varietal flavors.

The wine is well balanced with a fresh, clean finish. Enjoy Vigneti del Sole Pinot Grigio with filet of sole, crab salad, grilled chicken, pasta and mild cheeses.

They source the grapes for Lumina from the Delle Venezie IGT, an appellation comprised of Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, and Trentino. These are the top regions in Italy for the cultivation of Pinot Grigio. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks.

The result of a rigorous selection of grapes, Novaserra, which has become a classic, expresses an organoleptic complexity never reached. It’s soft and round with a stimulating core of acidity to balance. A sour lime tinge nicely offsets ripe orchard fruits. 10% Nebbiolo vinified as white, 90% Chardonnay. 60% of the grapes come from Rocche di Castiglione (Cascina Pira) and the rest are grown in Barbaresco. This crystalline white is as hard to come by as Luca’s more famous single vineyard Barolos and Barbarescos and we are happy to have a small allotment.

Our vineyard yield is very low which is a result of our quest for quality over quantity. Our winemaking philosophy is to emphasize the grape’s pure varietal taste without the masking effects of oak. The climate helps to maintain a balance between acidity and sugar levels and allows the grapes a long slow growing season making our candoni pinot grigio of excellent quality.

Best with a delicious accompaniment to fish seasonal pasta dishes or chicken. It can also stand alone as an aperitif on a hot summer’s day. How to serve pour into ample but not oversized goblets at a temperature of around.

92+ Points Eric Guido |  The spicy 2019 Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Fosso Cancelli wafts up with pungent florality complemented by savory herbal tones and then contrasted by an enriching note of baked apple. This is racy and cool-toned with vibrant acidity and saline mineral tones that keep the tension high as citrus-tinged orchard fruits cascade across the palate. The 2019 cleans up beautifully, leaving a salty flourish and nuances of sour lemon that tug at the cheeks. Well done, and the best part is that the Fosso Cancelli should only get better with a short stay in the cellar.

The light skin contact we apply on our white wines results in a combination of density as well as elegance and makes this wine very suited to accompany a wide variety of dishes and cuisine, from fish to white meat.

The vineyards (Calderara, Borriglione, Crasà and Picciolo) are located between 620 and 750 m. asl with. A blend of 50% Grecanico Dorato and 50% Carricante. Producer Description.

Golden color with greenish hues. This wine shows an elegant and complex nose, with floral notes of wisteria, lemon balm and acacia flowers, fruity nuances of peach, swiftly leading the way for a slight saline note.

Intense and crunchy, with a vibrant structure that resonates with citrus fruits and mineral elements. It shows itself little by little, with refreshing minerality on the long finish.
