Walter Speller Jancis Robinson 17+ Points | Lustrous, concentrated ruby with the beginning of orange tinges. Deep nose of cherry and raspberry fruit and stony notes. Gorgeous, lush, tangy sour-cherry fruit with tannic bite on the finish. Drinking 2024 to 2030. (2021)
James Suckling 92 Points | Aromas of red plums, dried lavender and new leather followed by forest floor, dried orange peel, and a hint of terra-cotta. Medium-bodied, firm yet fine-grained tannins with crisp acidity. Subtle mineral finish. Nice depth with layers. From organically grown grapes. Try after 2025. (2021).
Michaela Morris Decanter | The Bacci family proposes three Chianti Classico – all Sangiovese in purezza – conforming to the denomination’s quality hierarchy. The annata is assembled from a variety of plots spread throughout the estate’s 510-hectare expanse – some on yellow marine sands, others on calcareous clay. Earthy rather than fruity, the 2021 entices with tobacco, green tea and a hint of petrichor. While still fairly wound up, the palate is set against sour red cherry. Steely acidity accentuates grainy, slight rustic tannins, and this needs a hearty braise to absorb. (2021).

Domaine Fontaine Gagnard Bourgogne Passetoutgrains 2021 750ml
Critics Notes
Allen Meadows’ writes: A very pinot-like nose speaks mostly of red cherry and raspberry along with background hints of spice and newly turned earth. The supple and relatively forward middleweight flavors possess a bit more volume while displaying reasonably good persistence on the bitter pit fruit-inflected finish that is just a bit more structured. Even so, this too should drink well shortly after release. Drink 2024+. - Allen Meadows’ Burghound
Neal Martin writes: The 2021 Bourgogne Rouge has a pretty red cherry and cranberry scented nose, a little rustic in style. The palate is medium-bodied with light tannins, quite spicy and peppery in the second half with a clean, sous-bois-tinged finish . Drinking 2023 - 2028. - Vinous
Winemaker Description
This wine proves that red Burgundy doesn't have to take itself too seriously. It's a delightful, early-drinking blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay born from co-planted vines in a vineyard that skirts Chassagne-Montrachet. Made in a juicy, nouveau style, winemaker Céline Fontaine treats this the same as her traditional Bourgogne rouge. The varieties are co-fermented and aged in old oak, bottled bright, fresh and young. It's cracking drinking. A vibrant, crunchy red Burgundy for drinking any night of the week.

Cloudline Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2022 750ml

Bart Hopkins 67Wine.com | The 2022 Cloudline Pinot Noir shines from the glass with bright ruby reflections. The nose is inviting and uniquely Willamette Valley, warm and spicy with cherry raspberry and strawberry aromas. In the mouth the fruit is fresh and vibrant with round, velvety tannins on the supple finish.

One of Joseph Drouhin’s illustrious endeavors in Oregon, 2022 marks the 21st vintage of Cloudline Pinot Noir. The fruit for Cloudline is sourced from some of Oregon’s top vineyards, and 25% of the fruit for the 2022 vintage is from Drouhin’s own Roserock Vineyard in the Eola-Amity region.
Very easy to drink! Medium ruby-purple in the glass, it's scented of cranberries, blackberries and blueberries with touches of tar, mushroom and lavender. Light-bodied, soft and juicy, it offers generous perfumed fruit and a long, floral finish.

Expert Review
92 Points James Suckling | An excellent Ripasso. A full-weighted wine that is polished by a slick veneer of winemaking. Licorice root, violet, clove, sassafras and dark cherry accents to the oak. The sweetness strays into kirsch territory, yet the tannic clamp ensures that it’s not excessive. This is a wine for those who like power and polish. (2020).
92 Points Wine Spectator | An aromatic, savory streak of tarry smoke and leather offers a subtle underpinning for the rich mesh of Amarena cherry, cured tobacco, licorice and warm spices on display in this harmonious red, with supple, well-knit tannins. Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone. Drink now through 2030. (2020).
Tasca d'Almerita Regaleali Nero d'Avola 2020 750ml
Winemaker Description
From the Regaleali Estate, the Tasca winery, focusing on Nero d'Avola grapes (black grape variety also called 'Calabrese' not because it comes from Calabria, but as it derives from the ancient Calabrese family originating in the area of Modica - Avola), produces this Ruby red wine, which has an exceptional aroma that brings to mind harmonious fruity notes well blended with typical Mediterranean spices. On the palate, an intense flavor of ripe fruit comes along with a pleasantly tannic background.
Domaine Dupeuble, Beaujolais 2022 750ml
Winemkaer Description
The elegance, freshness, bright fruit, and utter quaffability of this beautiful wine will immediately blow you away.
d'Arenberg The Footbolt Shiraz 2021 750ml
Wine Enthusiast | Savory notes of sage and bay leaf are as forward on the nose as the plum and cherry notes. There’s a lick of vanillin oak showing, too. The abundance of tangy fruit continues its journey in the mouth, lingering on the finish amidst a powerful, well-placed frame of tannins. (2021).
ames Suckling | Good shiraz, strongly regional, aromatic and attractive. While I query the dryness of the tannins here, there is ample pleasure to be found behind a veneer of violets, purple pastilles, blue fruit, iodine and licorice. A little reduction creates tension without ever becoming too hard. (2021).

Haut Bailly II 2nd Wine of Chateau Haut Bailly Pessac-Leognan 2019 750ml
Expert Reviews
Georgina Hindle writes: Wow, dark berries and violets on the nose, so sensuous, smells rich and round. Beautifully fresh on the palate, there is a real zing and burst of red fruit juiciness but also a lovely cooling freshness straight from the start. Almost has a blue fruit touch but there's strawberries, raspberries and red cherries too. Smooth tannins with a gently chalky grip that coat the mouth giving structure and body. So linear and straight yet also layered, nothing is too overt or in your face - precise and really elegant. I love this - gentle and well presented. Excellent. A blend of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drinking 2024 - 2039 - Decanter 94
Jane Anson writes: Chewy depth to the tannins, buoyed up by juice rippling through the red berry fruits. Gourmet and silky, a creamy texture through the mid palate with hints of subtle caramel and baked earth. Excellent. - Vinous 92
Jeb Dunnuck writes: The second wine of Château Haut-Bailly and based largely on Merlot, the 2019 Haut-Bailly II is a soft, seductive Graves with beautiful blue and black fruit as well as notes of chocolate, tobacco, and damp earth. Medium to full-bodied, with delicious fruit and silky tannins, drink it on release and over the following 10-15 years. Drinking 2020 - 2035 - Jeb Dunnuck 90-91
James Lawther MW writes: Ripe and pure on the nose. Dark-fruit notes, the cassis more obvious as it opens. Medium bodied with a touch of sweetness on attack then crunchy fruit on the mid palate. Slight savoury edge then minerally and dry on the finish, the Graves imprint present. Drinking 2025 - 2034 - Jancis Robinson 16.5
Neal Martin writes: The 2019 Haut-Bailly II, the second wine of Haut-Bailly, has accentuated the sous-bois elements on the nose since bottling, now feeling quintessentially Pessac-Léognan and quite marine-influenced in style. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, taut and fresh, still a little piquant on the finish but with more precision than I recall. This is very impressive. Excellent. - Vinous 93
Antonio Galloni writes: The 2019 Haut-Bailly II is much more elegant and nuanced than it was from barrel, always a great thing to see. Silky tannins wrap around a core of bright red berry, spice, tobacco, cedar and mint in this gracious, mid-weight second wine from the estate. The 2019 will surely improve in bottle, but it is pretty enticing today. Drinking 2024 - 2039 - Vinous 93
William Kelley writes: The 2019 Haut-Bailly II exhibits aromas of rich berry fruit, cassis, cigar wrapper and loamy soil. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and polished, with a ripe core of fruit and plenty of rich, powdery tannin, it's a Merlot-dominated blend that was composed at the moment of assemblage (as opposed to a selection of dedicated plots). Drinking 2023 -2045 - Robert Parker 90

Expert Ratings
Wine Enthusiast 92 Points | Juicy, tangy and savory in cedar, black tea and rhubarb, this is an expressive, exuberant red wine that is earthy and lightly spicy. Firm tannin's provide a structural foundation beneath light bodied ripeness and persistent acidity. (2021).
James Suckling 92 Points | A fresh, medium-bodied pinot noir. Fruity and floral with notes of currants and fresh berries. Some dark wood. Mellow on the mouth with a clean finish. Firm and linear, too. Drink now. (2021).
Wine Spectator 90 Points | Dried cherry and berry flavors dominate this fleshy version. Savory spice notes emerge midpalate, with a finish of dried meat and underbrush. (2021).
King Estate Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2022 750ml

This is a beautifully complex wine with elegant fruit and structure. Classic Pinot Noir aromas and flavors of dark fruit – black raspberry, marionberry, blueberry and ripe dark cherry – are joined by accents of black tea, clove, vanilla, toast, orange zest and forest floor. Chateau Lilian Ladouys Saint- Estephe Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel 2020 750ml
Expert Ratings
Wine Enthusiast Points 93-95 Points | The combination of powerful tannins and equally generous black fruits is a fine harbinger for this wine's development. Big, bold and juicy with a dense structure, the wine is for longterm aging. (2020).
Decanter 93 Points | Juicy, well balanced, plenty of personality, with enough juice through the mid palate to balance out the big tannins that are pretty inescapable in any wines of ambition in 2020. The finish closes in sharply, but this is an enjoyable wine from the Lorenzetti-owned Lilian Ladouys (and for me one of the clear leaders of the new Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel category). (2020).
Jeb Dunnuck 92 Points | Seemingly always terrific, the 2020 Chateau Lilian Ladouys shows the class of the vintage and has a medium to full-bodied, concentrated, yet silky, perfectly balanced style with tons to love. Darker fruits, damp earth, truffle, and beautiful spice-driven aromatics define this beauty, and while it's already accessible, I'm sure will evolve gracefully for 10-15 years. Best After 2023.
James Suckling 92 Points | This is a young 2020 that is back ended with a serious finish of solid and polished tannins and plenty of juicy fruit. Medium body. Racy structured. Excellent length at the end. Try after 2025. (2020).
Robert Parker 91+ Points | The 2020 Lilian Ladouys offers up aromas of cassis, licorice and a deft touch of creamy new oak, followed by a medium to full-bodied, rather rich and broad palate framed by powdery tannins that assert themselves on the finish. It's a touch more structured than the demonstrative 2019 and will require a little patience. Best after 2027. Rating: 91+

Cristom MT JEFFERSON CUVEE Pinot Noir Willamette Valley 2022 750ml
James Suckling | A lively, precise and well-composed pinot with notes of sour cherries, red currants, crushed roses and mild spices on the nose, followed through to a medium body with bright acidity. It’s crisp and spot-on, with succulent wild berries at the center and verve throughout. (2022).
Vinous | Wildly exotic, the 2022 Pinot Noir Mt. Jefferson Cuvée captivates with its seductive blend of dried flowers, incense, rosemary and dried strawberries. This is wonderfully fresh, nearly crunchy in feel, with stimulating acidity offsetting its tart red fruits and hints of sour citrus that pucker the cheeks. The 2022 finishes with youthful tension, lightly structured yet cooling and fresh, leaving suggestions of tart raspberry. About 52% whole cluster fermentation. (2022).
