Marques de Vargas Reserva 2017 is a blend of 90% Tempranillo, 5% Garnacha and 5% Mazuelo. Aged 22 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes: This Reserva opens up with an elegant and enticing nose of blackberries, cassis and violets. On the palate the wine is supremely elegant with character and structure. Medium-bodied with notes of balsamic, dried herbs, umami and a nice touch of minerality. The finish is elegant and long with a crisp acidity and lasting flavors of balsamic and dark fruit.
