Winemaker Description
The La Ferme des 7 Lunes winery may be unfamiliar to you. It must be said that the owner of this family-run winery, Jean Delobre, is a winemaker who demonstrates commendable restraint.
He cultivates his Syrah vines according to organic and biodynamic principles and vinifies them naturally, according to all the rules of the trade. He favors natural yeasts to allow the terroir to express itself. Fermentations are slow and extractions gentle.
This Saint-Joseph is therefore tasty, pure, and dynamic. One notices notes of red and black fruits, flowers like violets, and spices like pepper. On the palate, it is fruity, fine, and structured by silky tannins. With its long, fresh finish, it should be enjoyed at an early age. We therefore recommend opening this wine two to five years after the vintage.
