Jeb Dunnuck writes: The second wine of Château Beauregard, the 2019 Benjamin De Beauregard is a plump, forward, straight-up delicious Pomerol loaded with ripe cherry and mulberry fruits as well as spicy, herbal nuances. It's balanced and well worth drinking any time over the coming decade.  Drinking 2022 -2032. - Jeb Dunnuck 90

Antonio Galloni writes: The 2019 Benjamin Beauregard is a very pretty second wine. Bright floral and spice accents lift a core of sweet red berry fruit. This sensual, racy Pomerol is a pure and total pleasure. Drink it over the next decade or so.  Drinking 2022 - 2029 - Vinous 91

Georgina Hindle writes: A refined but expressive nose full of bramble fruits and floral reflections. Lovely chalky texture and concentration here - refined and elegant in the purity of succulent fruit and overall tannic feel with the focus on red and black fruits - strawberries, red cherries, blackcurrants and liquorice. A serious style which is well defined and presented. Nice winemaking on show and an earlier drinking Pomerol to enjoy sooner. Tasted three times.  Drinking 2023 - 2035. - Decanter 91

James Suckling writes: Blackberries, blackcurrants, mushrooms, walnuts, minerals and sweet spices on the nose. Medium-to full-bodied with fine tannins. Velvety and layered with a harmonious, spicy finish. Drink from 2024. - James Suckling 92

The wine has a wonderful velvety, lush flavor average completeness with creamy blackberry hues, abundant soft tannins and a pleasant aftertaste.

Wine with an unusually pleasant aroma with hints of cherries, plums, truffles, with liquorice and herbal notes.

Excellent steam to hot dishes of lamb, beef.

Deep, dark, moody, and brooding aromas. Black cherry underscored by loads of licorice, mint, and tobacco. Perfect for pairing with gamy cuts of meat, and flavorful stews.
