The 2018 Les Longues Voyes cuvée produced by Aurélien Laherte is a delicate and silky Blanc de Noirs, with a nice tension. This champagne will be perfect for an aperitif or at the table. The Pinot Noirs that make up this cuvée were harvested in 2018 and come from Premier Cru terroirs of the Montagne de Reims. The grapes were harvested at perfect maturity, pressed, then vinified in oak barrels with an aging period of 18 months. Malolactic fermentation is blocked to promote the expression of the terroir. After disgorging, the wine is dosed Extra-Brut at 2 g/L to preserve this great freshness. The nose reveals notes of black fruits, and the palate is lively, tense, fine, tasty and tonic.
