The Nordes Atlantic Galician Gin is a very, very intriguing Spanish gin. It is made from a distillate of grapes of the Albariño variety, grown in Galicia, northwest Spain, as opposed to the normally used grain-based spirit. A total of 12 botanicals are used, including bay leaf, quinine, hibiscus, cardamom, eucalyptus, lemon grass, peppermint, Salicornia, black Ceylon tea, and ginger. A floral and very flavoursome gin, ideal for summer cocktails.

100% Macabeu is fermented at low temperatures. Green walnuts, herbs and spices are sourced locally from the Matarrana area and macerated in the wine. While designed primarily for straight consumption, the Negra lends itself to mixing as well. In the glass, Vermut Negre has a dark mahogany hue similar to port. On the nose, it has aromas of stewed fruits intermingled with spices such as cinnamon and cardamom. Vibrant on the palate with spicy and herbal notes. This one's all about balance!
